This project explores how typography alone can communicate a sense of place by reimagining Golden Gate Park as a typographic experience. Using an axial grid system, the composition guides the viewer through the poster like a walk through the park, with the vertically set "GOLDEN GATE" title acting as the visual spine and event information flowing outward to create rhythm and movement. The pairing of Brother 1816 and Rogliano establishes a clear typographic hierarchy, while a bold palette of deep navy, electric green, neon orange, and light blue reflects San Francisco's vibrant energy. A subtle dahlia pattern adds texture and references the city's official flower, reinforcing the connection to place. Overall, the project demonstrates how typography, hierarchy, and composition can transform a simple event listing into an engaging visual experience.
